A day at the Zoo!

and it wasn't my house lol

we went to The Hogle Zoo today. It was Wild Wednesday so it was free! It was gorgeous outside too!!

ATG gun holder!

k I am a happy scrapper!! let me tell ya lol! So I have my cool ATG gun that Santa brought me and then saw some cute holders. I was going to have my friends hubby make me a holder but wanted to check out the wooden plaques at the store. anywho my sis Bridgette and I found some cute memory boxes and they fit the guns perfectly so we invented our ATG gun holder! here ya go!!

well so I hope you can see it. He took the stone out of my old ring and put it in a new setting. plus it is white gol dnow too. I ill miss my old ring because it was very unique and I loved it :(

Happy Birthday Baby!!

Today is my Honey Bunny's birthday!! He is 36! well I put happy birthday baby cuz I LOVE how Mr Big always says it to Carrieso I like to say it lol.
Anywho Friday Don took the day off work we got a sitter (thanks Ma Tammy!) and headed out to the mountains. Ok first off Don has a friend at work that he hangs out with a lot and it is his birthday too-happy birthday Kyle! we went with Kyle and his wife Mandy snowmobiling. We headed up to Smith Canyon, unloaded and road in to Eldredge Mountain (my dad owns 10 acres and that's the name) IT was fun Don wrecked playing around the snow where he was playing wasn't too deep and as he jumped and came down the hill SMACK into a huge rock he bent a bar on his sled so we left it and kyle and Mandy double road up. IT snowed the whole way!! well it was a fun ride when we got up there we made Brauts and YUMMY!! they were good!! then we headed back and played ina field for a while we say a bald eagle which was cool and then headed back. oh btw as soon as we got up to EM the sun came out and it was beautiful and as soon as we decided to leave it started to rain!! the thermometer said it was 40°. well me and Don double road back and it stopped raining/snowing once we started going. but as soon as I got back to the truck it started pouring rain. it was soo much fun though and I'm not too sore today or yesterday. so here are some pictures! the last one I took of myself cuz I was waiting for them back at the truck..

anxiety

yeah I have a bit of an anxiety. I have learned to control panic attacks thru breathing and can now usually avoid them. So I have something in a few months and I am already anxious about it. I hate it my stomach turns when I think about it. SOme days I wonder how I can even leave my house. BLAH!! I want to jsut scream to get the sickness out of my stomach. I mean it isn't even anything to get sick about! It is something fun! but it makes me ill and not in a good way :(

a sweet ending to a crummy day

I absolutely love my church calling!! In my church everything is volunteer but the Bishop asks if you will do certain things. Well I am over the young women (girls 12-18 years old). Tonight we combined with the Young men (boys 12-18) for a progressive dinner. we started at one house and had some fabulous appetizers, then to another house for salad, to another house for Spaghetti and Garlic bread then we all came back to my house for dessert well we finished a little sooner than we planned so we got back to my house almost a half hour before we were expected too so I offered up my Wii for them to play so we ate our dessert then came down stairs and a group played the wii (after one boy ran home and got his controllers) another group settled in front of the puter to look at youtube videos from their high school and another group sat in front of the tv and watched a movie. at 8:30 I told them all what time it was (they're supposed to be home by then) and then again at 9 I asked if their parents knew where they were and I still had a few here at 10 cuz they finished the movie. They are such great bunch of kids I feel so blessed they make me feel like a kid again (which can some times be scary lol) but they also come to me and we talk seriously. Like tonight a few kids and I talked about wars and we talked about Hiroshima. It is a scary world we live in. Anyway I love them!! they are FANTASTIC!!

Did I say Don had a surprise on Valentines Day? He took my wedding ring and had it redone He didn't care much for my old one. SO I will have to get a picture of it and post it! It is gorgeous!! he had the stone put in White gold but I don't have any Baggetts anymore :( boohoo!!
hmm I was going to write about something else and I forgot so maybe int he morning it is late... oh yeah I remember. Don's friend and wife came over tonight and looke da tthe house across the stret that is for sale I hope that they get it!! well ok that's all and goodnight!! it is 10:30 and I have had a long exhausting day!!

Happy President's Day!!

another day off school. My sister Bridgette came over and we chilled for awhile then decided to go to Robert's and well I was suposed to check out some plaques for My ATG gun holder well we came up with another BRILLIANT idea and ended up buying boxes. oh yeah it isn't finished yet but it looks AWESOME!! I have mine all painted now and put back together. so now I just need to decorate! I'll probably do butterflies and some bling. 11 more days till the scrappin overnighter! WOOHOO!! I am soo excited! I love to be ablle to get away and scrap and soo thankful Don let's me!

Oh So my baby.. my oldest baby, Jacob, turned 9 on Saturday HOLY COW!! I have a 9 year old!! I love it!! he is soo funny. I have bought him wallets before but he said for his birthday he wanted a 'man' wallet and a 'man' watch! lol So that's what he got! He also took some money to teh store when we went to exchange his watch (It didn't have a band to hold the strap) so we went in together and got Mario Galaxy for the Wii. Saturday night we went swimming and we had soo much fun till Sadie slipped and face planted on the ground :( she got a bloody nose and a fat lip :(

one day past

Yesterday was Valentines day! It was a really busy day. we had a HUGE storm come in on Wednesday night Don snow blowed the drive way that night and when we woke you couldn't even tell. We probaby got 8-10 inches of snow. well they ended up delaying the start of school because so many people were snowed in and electricty was down everywhere (not here). So My kids ended up going to school at 10:45. then it was off to go grocery shopping which was fun cuz I went with a friend. then We got back at 1:30 and I had to be at the school at two so we hurried and unloaded her groceries and it was off tot eh house I cheanged my clothes and got to the school about 1:50. Well the party was fine but the poor teacher was going crazy. and was about to cancel the party cuz the kids weren't being good. I got home about 3:30 and started making dinner. whew I was in the kitchen till 6 when Don got home and we finally ate. SO that was my v-day. I tried to watch Surviver but couldn't and so I watched tv after the kids were in bed. and When I went to bed I hit the pillow and was out!
today has been better however i have not started laundry yet and it is 10:30 YAWN!

oh yah! there are some new shows starting on TV tonight!! Let's see Survivor at 7 then at 8 I'll watch the Apprentice and at 9 Lipstick Jungle starts. So it will be weird to watch tv and not just flip stations. However the last few nights on the History channel I have been watching shows about UFO's, Area 51 and Roswell MN. It has been really crazy and I am surprised I haven't been dreaming of Aliens lol.

Kids go to school ina few minutes and oh man this weekend it is suppose to be over 40°!! I am soo looking forward to it!! Jacob has scouts I think tonight also there is a primary activity after school and they are excited about that. well better run cuz well I gotta take teh kids to school :)

annoying blogs and aching fingers

I sat down and watched Spongebob with Owen and Sadie and I didn't even get to see it! I fell asleep!! lol I have been a little frustrated today. I tried to change my background and totally messed up my blog :( I think I got it fixed how it was before. Well I can't find the answer I am looking for so if anyone reads this "HELLO OUT THERE" I need to know how to change my layout with out changing or having to delete my page elements BLAH!! I about screamed then I had saved it but it wouldn't go back on so I had to start from scratch arg. ok it looks fine now but itwas a lot of work..

for me.. let's see My fingers are starting to heal and itch and they still hurt so I can't itch. My pinky which got it the worse is still in a lot of pain. It cracked open yesterday. and then if it bends at the top knuckle backwords HOLY COW!! that really hurts!! I almost cried!! kids will be out of school in an hour. I can'y believe how quickly today has gone by.

it's been a week since the passing

of President Hinkley. I have read thru so many wonderful stories and peoples feeling on him. So I just wanted to share a few things since today a new Prophet will be named.
I LOVED to look at Pres Hinkley. He was always filled with the spirit of God. I loved the tenderness he had every time he spoke to of his wife. An dI loved her she reminded me so much of my own grandma. As don was looking on KSL the site started to get really slow and he went back to the main page and the new front page was on saying President Hinkley had passed. After that within 5 minutes the page was completely overloaded and you couldn't even get on the site any more. my first thought was a sinking in my heart but then I was lifted up and happy! He was finally together with his wife!! WOW!! What an amazing gift we have from our Lord! Eternal families ROCK!! I went to a funeral of a friend in December right after Christmas. hmm maybe it was the first week in Jan. anyway it was really hard for me. She was 33. just a year older than me and she had two kids. I was really sad but after listening to all the wonderful things her Mother spoke of I was uplifted. She would finally be back with her sister who had passed away. and now she is onthe other side building her eternal home for her DH and beautiful kids!!

so today they will announce the new Prophet which should be Pres Monson. so funny thing at church yesterday... but here is a back story .. A few weeks ago I decide dto make my kids some church activity books so I went online and printed up some word search dot to dot and other game centered on LDS themes. One of the pages I did was some "baseball cards" with all teh apostles pictures and a little bit about them when they were ordained and some of their hobbies ect. well I didn't cut them I just added them to the books full sheet with three on each page. SO I always would ask Owen who the first presidency is. Well with pres Hinkley I would ask who it is and he would always say "follow the Prophet " lol then I wouldsay that is Pres Hinkley and he would say it and we would go to the next (Pres Monson). so yesterday we were doing them and I told him again President Hinkley died and lived with Jesus now and was about to tell him Pres Monson was going to be the next president. He pointed at Pres Monson and said he needs a train and I was huh? he said it's Tom he needs a train (We hadn't even got to Pres Monson yet) I realized he had associated 'Tom' with Thomas the Tank Engine. and I started laughing. But Hey he Remembers Pres Monsons name because of it and that is sweet. he then wen ton to ask what President Eyrings name was.







Ok my hands update...

they really HURT!!!! The blisters have all broken and they look ok but they get soo dry and HURT! I try to wear bandaids on them with Neosporin and that hurts for a little while but then they feel ok because the moisture on them well I am out of bandaids now. lol and they hurt this morning.

TGIF!

Yep it is finally Friday! and well if you ar reading this I am sorry for the typos which I probably will not go back and fix. Since burning my fingers my typing really sucks cuz I think my fingers are in shock and don't listen to my brain. anywho here we are it is Friday again. Tomorrow we are going Icce Fishing as a family. Sadie will go to Gramma's. Still undecided whether she will sleep over or not. ok now she is on the floor in an all out fit! whew I LOVE MY KIDS!!!
today I am trying to find all my awesome websites I love to rebookmark tehm :( I THINK and hope I got all the banks/bills I pay lol. I guess time will get me back to speed.
I woke up this morning and my fingers really hurt. I smashed one yesteday did I write that and way I smashed it and it totally ripped a blister and it has been bleeding ona nd off. and now it hurts to get it wet again. oh dang I haven't started laundry yet. I am bored yeah I really need to get my mind back on track and clean my hosue..
